Research
In my prior work I've explored everything from how empathy manifests in physics faculty's relationships with their students and mentees to the impact of introductory lab experiments on students' feelings of self-efficacy. Currently I'm investigating how instruction impacts students' understanding of measurement and uncertainty in both classical lab courses and upper-division quantum mechanics courses.
