This full-service machining and fabricating facility serves all departments at Cornell and is staffed by experienced professional machinists. The LASSP Professional Machine Shop is also able to provide these same services to research institutions other than Cornell. Shop personnel advise on design as well as executing the needed machining, brazing, welding, and other peripheral operations for fabricating experimental apparatus.
