Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics

Atomic, molecular and optical physics research activities includes studies of spinor Bose-Einstein condensates, ultracold fermions and hybrid optomechanical systems. Specific topics include the non-equilibrium properties of isolated quantum systems, regimes of strong correlations in nanokelvin many-body systems, precision measurements using quantum gases and atom-mediated quantum control of macroscopic systems.
