Research Interests and Experience:

Hydrodynamics of 3He in confined geometries and the boundary condition at the interface between 3He and 4He. The proximity effect across 3He and 3He in 4He as well as in superconducting thin films. Finite size effects on phonons and electrons in conductive media. Quantum size effects. NMR at low temperatures. Nuclear and electronic demagnetization for cooling. Precision thermometry. High Q torsion oscillators. Internal friction mechanisms. SQUIDS. Novel composite materials.
