Opportunities

Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Theoretical Physics

The Laboratory of Atomic and Solid State Physics (LASSP) at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level in theoretical hard condensed matter physics, to begin July 1, 2019. Candidates must hold a doctorate in an appropriate field, must have demonstrated an ability to conduct outstanding research, and must show promise for excellent teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Design and Maintain Ultrahigh Vacuum Systems

The Laboratory of Atomic and Solid State Physics (LASSP) at Cornell University is a research center that focuses on exciting and cutting-edge research in both theoretical and experimental physics. Since 1954, our researchers have been leading the way in the fields of condensed matter, biological physics, and optics; evolving new methods and simultaneously deepening our fundamental understanding of the world.

Cornell Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship

Continuing to advance its exemplary academic stature and impactful research mission, Cornell University created the Cornell Presidential Postdoctoral Fellows program. The program offers significant independence and resources to top-tier postdoctoral researchers and scholars.
