Course syllabus and reading assignments


Homework: Weekly homework assignments.
Homework is due on Tuesdays and will be handed back on the following Friday.

Computer lab: One assignment, due in three parts (September 16th,  30th, October 14th).

Prelims: In class, October 4th and November 3rd.
Final exam: Wednesday, December 14th,  9:00 - 11:30 am, RF 122.

Academic Integrity: Each student in this course is expected to abide by the Cornell University Code of Academic Integrity. You are allowed to discuss the subject and the homework problems with others. However, you should write up the homework by yourself and acknowledge all sources.

Final grade based on homework (30%), computer lab (10%), two prelims (30%) and final examination (30%).
